Let me start by saying, this is probably one of my favorite engagement sessions to date. Not only because Danielle and Kevin are one of the sweetest, most artistic couples I've met, but we were able to take their vision and make it a reality—the resulting images so perfectly reflect who they are and their day-to-day love. We split the session into two parts: starting on the bluffs overlooking the town they live in, and ending with a cozy evening snuggling their animals in their home. (Scroll to the bottom for a link to check out Part 2!)
We began the afternoon at Memorial Park in Red Wing, not too far from Danielle and Kevin's home. The park was beautiful, offering a variety of backdrops for us to explore: grassy fields with views of the town below, bright red sumacs, stony bluffs, the list goes on...
These two were such naturals in front of the camera, it was hard not to get hundreds of perfect shots. I also enjoyed catching up with Danielle (she's a friend of my sister, but it had been a while since we'd chatted) and getting to know Kevin.
After we finished up at the park, we headed over to Danielle and Kevin's home for Part 2 of their session. Prepare for some cozy images loaded with cuddly-pet-cuteness!
