I’m so excited to share my good friends Amanda & Chris’ maternity photos! The two are expecting a little boy Mid-August—about a month after my little one should arrive! I can’t wait to share in all the excitement and little “firsts” that come with parenthood with them and watching our little ones grow up together. These two are going to be incredible parents. I’m certainly looking forward to the newborn shoot

Little Emily was just two weeks old for her first portraits. She slept right through most of the pictures, while Haley, just over a year, was busier than ever. She ran around playing with any camera or cell phone she could get her hands on, but ended up sitting well in her pink dress for a couple of shots.

Merry Christmas everyone!
What better way to spread a little cheer than to share a post of some adorably goofy holiday photos? My brother and his girlfriend, Paige are one of the quirkiest (and most perfect-for-each other) couples I know. They wanted to send a funny holiday greeting card out to friends and family, so we gathered up some goofy outfits and their puppy Ozzy for a shoot in the snow. The College Chef Cookbook
After a long semester of cooking and styling meals (and taking photos while my stomach growled), I’m happy to say that I’ve finally completed my College Chef Cookbook, as well as my Applied Photography Minor.
Below is a preview of my book, which is available for purchase as an image wrapped hard-cover with premium matte finished paper. (Its expensive right now, I know…but the quality is worth the cost! Eventually I will have it available as a softcover, which will be cheaper). For now, enjoy!

My senior project is well under way and I’ve been workin’ my butt off designing allll semester. I got a good start on my business cards tonight. Although they’re only about halfway finished, I thought I’d give you a little peek of the start of them! Stay tuned for more senior show deliciousness.

Rachel, an interior designer and fellow photographer, asked me to design a logo for her current project: a photography studio. St. Croix Studios is a lifestyle photography studio designed with the ability to capture all of life’s moments, including family portraits, senior portraits, babies, and boudoir. The colors work beautifully to accent the studio’s location and the natural style of the photography in general.

Letter-pressed Wedding Invites
Chris and Amanda are good friends, both with fun, quirky personalities—which called for a more contemporary design than the traditional floral, cursive, elegant invites. So I created a clean, modish design with their initials and an ampersand pattern. Best of all, we got them letter-pressed! A special thanks to Studio on Fire, who did an awesome job printing the invites.
